Piper Family: Summertime

To say that she has her hands full would be an understatement. My classmate from High School, managing a farm with her husband and raising 3 children. She's got her hands full, her schedule full, and her heart full. Luckily, she fit me in to capture some photos of her kids this summer.

I love the distant look. I love the wheat field.

This feels like summer to me.

Didn't Need To See That

On Saturday I was witness to a frightning sight.
The World Bratwurst Eating Championship.

I may never again eat a bratwurst.

(Well at least not 42 of them in 10 minutes)

Ella + Jake

A couple of months ago, Ella + Jake's grandma contacted me about photos. She wanted a secret photo shoot in honor of her son and daughter in-laws upcoming anniversary. What a great gift to give (and receive)!
I was happy to take part in the scheming since I knew that I would be photographing these two cuties.

Ella + Jake will have a new sibling in November and I hope to get to photograph him/her someday!

Where Have I Been?

August was a busy month for us.

And now I must recover.
